Use this page for setup issues, routing questions, billing problems, and license recovery.

Common setup issues

  • No audio in Retuner: confirm the source is routed into Retuner Input (Windows) or BlackHole (macOS).
  • No output: confirm the correct speaker device is selected inside the app.
  • macOS setup: install BlackHole and relaunch Retuner Pro after installation.
  • Loopback users: disable monitor output in Loopback if you hear duplicate audio.
  • Windows driver questions: confirm whether Retuner reused an existing compatible virtual audio driver or installed VB-CABLE during setup.
  • Licensing issues: use the restore purchase flow from the account screen.

What to include

  • Your OS version (Windows or macOS)
  • Your audio device name
  • The virtual audio driver shown in system sound settings (BlackHole on macOS, Retuner Input / VB-CABLE on Windows)
  • The app version you are using
  • A short description of the issue and what you expected

Compatible virtual audio drivers

Retuner Pro can work with supported virtual audio routes already installed on your system.

  • macOS: BlackHole (recommended)
  • Windows: VB-CABLE by VB-Audio Software (installer can set this up when needed)
  • Other compatible virtual lines already detected by Retuner Pro
